"Mate, i'm no hardware techie, dont even profess to be, but i have fiddled with computers for years. I have never come across so many conflicts/problems as when i downgraded the Acer 5570z from Vista home basic to XP pro. I have the ftp link to the acer driver files but they would'nt work. I must have d/loaded about 20 different drivers for the Wifi adaptor, nothing would work.
