"The driver that came with the USB to serial adapter had an INF file with WinChipHead drivers distributed in 2005. Using this drive caused the system to constantly cycle the open device manager and I had to quickly uninstall the driver from the small CD that came with the device and use this drive I downloaded. I tested it with my 54K serial modem and it works great. B

e sure to remember to delete your modem and re-define it using the same port that shows up in the list of ports when I install this (i.e. mine was 20) so that the modem is connected to the same port that is automatically assigned to this device."

"I was not sure if this will work with windows-7 or not but amazingly it is working gr8. Recommended for Windows-7 as well. 7 Rocks, Vista Sucks"
