Deskpro EP, EN, and EN Series SFF Fix for False 1782 Error
This Softpaq creates two bootable diskettes to resolve an issue where some Deskpro models listed above contain certain IBM IDE hard drives that cause a false 1782 error message to be displayed when the system starts up.
If the error message has not occurred yet on a Deskpro EN LFF, Deskpro EN SFF, or Deskpro EP, use the first diskette to autodetect all hard drives currently installed. If an IBM IDE hard drive affected by this issue is found, the utility on this diskette updates the controller on the hard drive to prevent the false error messages from occurring.
