Sometimes the Windows XP and Longhorn installs wrong driver by itself, you should be aware and don't let it to happen, because many errors will occur so download this EXE file then extract it to a folder, for better results on many special systems don't run SETUP.EXE but try to use Add new Hardware Wizard, and just let the Windows to find the necessary information only, it's recommended for any Hardware installation.

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
