"I have searched HARD for an update to my MB. It's a scandal that Award has given bios support to a third part. After they merged, they totally suck. Now you have PAY to get something that should have been yours when you bought the thing in the first place! There's no built-in support for larger harddrives. I HAVE found some drivers that may help, though. www.giga-byte

"The driver is fine.. Some earlier motherboards still do not recognize HD's Larger than 8.4Gb's. You will need to use a third party Software Program Or make partitions 8.4 or smaller to accomadate. Bad crc can also be caused when downloading with error control and software flow turned off when downloading"

"I agree with you guys--this download is garbage and should have been fixed with a new version a long time ago. VERY frustrating! The good news is I found another version of this file that DOES work. Here's the location www.antec-inc.com/contact/dowload/dwload.htm In the future, when you have the name of the file you need (623wiq05.exe), just search the web for that file

"I got this driver somewhere else and it worked OK. www.spacewalker.com/english/download_bios.asp?product=HOT-591P I am however using it on a spacewalker MB. But it was the AWARD 4.51PG BIOS."

"for this driver go to asus.com and download aflash.exe. At the c prompt type in aflash.exe and it will tell you what kind of motherboard you have. This will enable you to know which v4.51pg motherboard you are looking for as there are several under that listing."

"Well, McAfee WebScan wouldn't even let me download it. After I disabled scanning and downloaded it, I used WinZip as suggested and this is what it had to say...
