"I have Windows ME. When I used the wizard for printer setup, it said it couldn't find the information on the disk. When I used "startup" on the disk, I get a Setup Initializaton Error - "Insufficient memory or disk space". I know I have plenty of memory. I copied the files to my C drive and got the same message. I also tried my D drive which is 1 gb so it can't be the dis

"It worked on Win98SE, despite nagging WinZip messages. I unzipped the disk1.exe (and ~2,and ~3) files to one folder/dir, which worked better than three sep. folders/dir's. Just Say No to fonts and DOS files! If you need one big LEGALLY ZIPped self-extracting ZIP file, please e-mail me and mention Driver Guide."

"I couldn't get this driver to work, even with Winzip. I'm using Windows 98 SE on my pentium PC. Anyone with suggestions, please email me with advice where to find another driver. Thanks."

"To respond to Jeff's problem... if you can use the WinWriter 400 on a computer that 1. Has an ECP-EPP printer port, 2. Runs Win95 or higher, 3. Is P&P capable (Pentium system or higher), should upon these conditions auto detect the printer and ask for the setup disk (download) to complete the rest. "This is the Toolkit software, but does not have a .inf file to load a driver. It did not help me get my printer going again, still looking."
