"Works with XP. BUT, DO NOT try to use this card, or driver with Vista! It is not supported and causes conflicts!"

"Opened and unzipped just fine, but cannot find the installation file. Even had the system try to locate automatically, still no luck"

"Although I rate the driver as ok, I did have problems to install all the options, but for sound it worked, but I was looking to hear tv sound through my capture card, and that wasnt to be.

Many problems with xp and sound on tv capture cards!"

"Driver downloaded and unzipped successfully, but would not install from the setup executable.

From appearances, it would seem that this driver is not compatible with W2K."

"I unzipped the file. I tried to load the driver. First it unloaded all reference to the driver then it attempted to load the driver. The process gets to 18% complete, then stops. I downloaded it twice...no good."

"The driver worked the charm on a Compaq presario 5900z, compaq part # 113897-002. Install is marked as poor because the average person might not figure it out, I had to point windows installer to four differant folders till it found everything. Works good in the end."

"Hardware, etc.: Sound Blaster Model CT4830 SB Live! sound card from 1999 by Creative Tech '97; Pentium III tower PC with Windows XP.

Problem: The sound card wasn't showing up under Devices - just the Audio CD (E:) and Speakers. I was getting a 0xC00D11BA error (Cannot play the file) on Windows Media Player, ie.) sound device is in use by another program - not functioni
