Additional Notes

This is a full flash image for the Dell Inspiron 3800.

If you have recently had your motherboard replaced or the machine is acting flaky, you can reflash the entire bios subsystem.

Download the file, run it and it will ask you for a floppy. Insert the floppy disk and it will make a self-booting floppy that will flash your machine.

*** IMPORTANT STEP *** - Do not just boot and run the file. To do a complete flash, you need to boot and escape to dos at the flash screen.

Then you want to run the i3800a15.exe program with the /jabil switch.

Cheers.
