Additional Notes

Driver files for HP Pavilion 763n on-board sound card under Windows XP Professional. Go to unrecognized flag in device manager, select update driver, point to directory where you unzipped files. Worked on mine...

"Had REAL problems finding the right driver - found several on this site. The first one I found works great.. so far.... ;-) NOTE: My system identified the correct driver as "82801 DB/DBL - not "DBM""

"Worked perfect for a gateway XP, Driver exact name needed was "intel 82801db ich4 ac'97 audio controller" But this worked fine so must ne the one! Mother board I believe was Intel Rexburg"
