Philips CDD4401 CD-ReWriter firmware
This firmware version resolves the Track Write Error issue as reported by Easy CD Creator. Also compatibility with recordable CDs of lower quality has been improved due to better calibration.
Note that this firmware is intended for the Philips CDD4401 CD-RW only. Using this firmware on any other optical drive may cause permanent damage to the device!
Also note that CD-R disks that previously generated the Track Write Error message will do this again with the new firmware. Only new CD-R disks should be used with the new firmware.
